Joana has a unique and surprising view of reality. She is able to find new angles and new esthetic meanings to whatever subject your assignment might be. She always goes far beyond expectations, and "lives" (as we say in Spain) each and every assignment with passion. I would also remark that while most photographers (even those teaching at universities) just pack and go, Joana does start every assignment researching on the subject. When she leaves out for the job, she knows what to expect and has some cultural background on the matter. Information is power, and conveyed by her, power is a brilliant job.
